हिन्दी अनुवाद:भारत सरकार ने सोमवार को कहा कि इस समय डीजल की कीमत मे वृद्धि करना समझदारी नहीं है जबकि अर्थव्यवस्था में उच्च मुद्रास्फीति परिदृश्य कुछ स्तर पर भी नियंत्रण-मुक्त करना प्रतिबद्ध था। इसने पेट्रोल की कीमतों को इससे पहले पूरी तरह से मुक्त किया था। केंद्रीय वित्त देश के सचिव अशोक चावला, एक साक्षात्कार में कहा कि यह समझदारी से नियंत्रण-मुक्त करना है जब मुद्रास्फीति उच्च डीजल की कीमतों के रूप में डीजल की कीमतों में आगे लंबी पैदल यात्रा के द्वारा मुद्रास्फीति को परिवहन और जनरेटर की लागत को जोड़ सकते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि हालांकि सब्सिडी के लिए सरकार को प्रतिबद्ध पुनर्गठन करना था। भारत की वार्षिक मुद्रास्फीति की दर खाद्य जारी 15% से ऊपर रहने के लिए भी शीर्षक के रूप में मुद्रास्फीति 8.5% के आसपास व्यापक है।
English Translation:
The Indian government said on Monday that it would not be wise to hike the price of diesel at the moment due to the high inflation scenario in the economy even though it was committed to deregulate the diesel prices too at some stage. It had earlier completely freed the prices of petrol. Union finance secretary of the country Ashok Chawla, said in an interview that it was not prudent to deregulate diesel prices when inflation is high as diesel prices can add further to inflation by hiking the cost of transportation and running generators. He though added that government was committed to rationalizing subsidies. India’s annual Food inflation continues to remain above 15% even as broader headline inflation hovers around 8.5%.
