English Translation:
After showing mild increase towards the end of monsoon season, steel prices have again corrected by a similar amount over the last couple of fortnights or so. However, analysts believe that there is a good chance of both Indian and global prices to move upwards by 5-10% over next few months. Global prices have gone down over last one month in wake of the onset of winter season which traditionally cuts demand in some regions of the world. The sluggish economic recovery in the developed world which has been creating some doubts on sustainability was also responsible for recent softening in steel prices to some extent. However, the trend is unlikely to continue and prices may rebound according to most analysts.
