Depreciating Rupee Is Affecting Financial Health Of OMCs: Reddy : ओएमसी रुपया गिरावट वित्तीय स्वास्थ्य को प्रभावित कर रहा: रेड्डी : 11-10-11

भारतीय रूपया में हाल ही में मूल्यह्रास सरकारी स्वामित्व वाली तेल विपणन कंपनियों (ओएमसी) के वित्तीय ने स्वास्थ्य को प्रभावित किया है। 1 रूपये के रूप में डीजल की लागत प्रभावों द्वारा डॉलर के मुकाबले रुपए की कमजोर, और प्रति वर्ष 8,000 करोड़ रुपये केरोसिन और रसोई गैस।

डॉलर के मुकाबले रुपया गिरने के कारण ओएमसी के राजस्व के नुकसान पर चिंता व्यक्त करके पेट्रोलियम मंत्री जयपाल रेड्डी ने कहा है कि विनिमय दर जो अमेरिकी डॉलर प्रति 46 रुपये सितंबर 2011 की शुरुआत में थी अब 49 रुपये के आसपास मंडरा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि हर एक पुन द्वारा कमजोर, प्रतिवर्ष 8,000 करोड़ रुपये डीजल, पीडीएस मिट्टी के तेल और घरेलू एलपीजी की लागत प्रभाव डाला है।

English Translation :

The recent depreciation in Indian rupee has affected the financial health of the government owned oil marketing firms (OMCs), as weakening of rupee against dollar by Re 1 impacts the cost of diesel, kerosene and cooking gas by Rs 8,000 crore per annum.

By expressing concern over the revenue loss of the OMCs due to fall of rupee against dollar, the Petroleum Minister Jaipal Reddy said that the exchange rate which was Rs 46 per US dollar at the beginning of September 2011 is now hovering around Rs 49. ‘Weakening by every Re 1, impacts the cost of diesel, PDS kerosene and domestic LPG by Rs 8,000 crore per annum’ he added.
