The second line stocks are also attracting significant buying attention today and have outperformed the benchmark index in the early trade as both the BSE Mid Cap and the BSE Small Cap index are trading with a gain of more than 2.5% each. The BSE Sensex is now trading above the 14,850 mark and the NSE Nifty above the 4,500 mark.
The BSE Sensex is trading up by 166.54 points or (1.14%) at 14,791.79 and the NSE Nifty is trading higher by 68.20 points or (1.53%) at 4,517.15.
The BSE Mid Cap increased by 121.52 points or (2.40%) to 5,178.26 and the BSE Small Cap grew by 160.48 points or (2.68%) to 6,147.30.
The Overall market breadth is positive as 1772 stocks are advancing while 223 stocks are declining and the 32 stocks remained unchanged on BSE.
