एस रामादुरै ने सीईओ और प्रबंध निदेशक के रूप में टीसीएस से इस्तीफा दिया- सितम्बर 05, 2009

टाटा कंसल्टेंसी सर्विसेज (टीसीएस) ने यह घोषणा की है कि, वर्तमान मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी और कंपनी के प्रबंध निदेशक एस रामदुरै को कार्यकारी बोर्ड की स्थिति से 05 अक्टूबर 2009 को सेवानिवृत्त किया जाएगा। बोर्ड ने यह तय किया है की बोर्ड के नियुक्ति के लिए एस रामादुरै को नियुक्ति करने का फैसला किया जाए इसेक अतिरिक्त निदेशक और गैर उपाध्यक्ष के रूप में 06 अक्टूबर 2009 को प्रभावी कार्यकारी क्षमता के रूप में इसे नामित किया जाए।

बोर्ड ने भी 06 अक्टूबर 2009 को प्रभावी एन चंद्रसेकरन, वर्तमान मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी और कार्यकारी निदेशक, के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी और कंपनी के प्रबंध निदेशक के रूप में इनकी नियुक्ति की पुष्टि की है।

बोर्ड की इस बैठक को 04 सितम्बर 2009 को आयोजित करने का निर्णय लिया गया था।

English Translation:

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced that S Ramadorai, the present chief executive officer and managing director of the company will retire from his executive and board position on 05 October 2009. The board has decided to appoint S. Ramadorai as additional director and designated him as vice chairman in non-executive capacity with effect from 06 October 2009.

The board has also confirmed the appointment of N Chandrasekaran, the present chief operating officer and executive director, as the chief executive officer and managing director of the company with effect from 06 October 2009.

This was decided at the board meeting held on 04 September 2009.
