अगस्त मे निर्यात मे 19.7 फीसदी से गिरावट - सितम्बर 25, 2009
हिन्दी अनुवाद:व्यापार मंत्री आनंद शर्मा ने गुरुवार को कहा कि भारत का निर्यात अगस्त मे सालाना 19.7 से गिर गया, वैश्विक मंदी के कारण भारतीय वस्तुओं की मांग मे कमी आई है। भारतीय निर्यात, जो अक्टूबर 2008 के बाद से वार्षिक संदर्भ में गिरा जोकि अगस्त 2008 में 16.01 अरब डॉलर था। बहरहाल, शर्मा जी ने कहा कि निर्यात में गिरावट की गति धीमी है। इस वर्ष जुलाई में निर्यात 28 प्रतिशत से कम है जोकि 13.6 अरब डॉलर है। चार महीने मे जुलाई के अंत तक निर्यात 49.6 बिलियन डॉलर से 34 प्रतिशत तक गिरा जो इसी अवधि में पिछले वर्ष की तुलना मे 75.2 बिलियन डॉलर था।
English Translation:
India's exports fell in August an annual 19.7 per cent, Trade Minister Anand Sharma said on Thursday, as the global slump hit demand for Indian goods. Indian exports, which have been falling in annual terms since October 2008, were $16.01 billion in August 2008. However, Sharma said that the pace of decline in the exports is slowing. Exports were 28 per cent lower in July this year to $13.6 billion. Cumulatively, exports in the four months ended July fell 34 per cent to $49.6 billion, compared with $75.2 billion in the same period last year.
