PM reviews economy with Plan panel : प्रधानमंत्री ने योजना आयोग के साथ अर्थव्यवस्था की समीक्षा की : 7th January

प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह ने योजना आयोग के सदस्यों से मुलाकात के क्रम में अर्थव्यवस्था का जायजा लेने के लिए और उन्हें मार्च के मध्य 11 वीं पंचवर्षीय योजना (2007-12) की अवधि के मूल्यांकन (MTA) को पूरा करने के निर्देश दिया। बहरहाल, प्रधानमंत्री, जो योजना आयोग के अध्यक्ष भी है उन्होंने सिफारिश की है कि चालू वित्त का एम टी ए मे प्रदर्शन में शामिल किया जाना चाहिए। इससे पहले आयोग को जनवरी अंत तक 11 वीं योजना की मध्यावधि समीक्षा को पूरा करना है। इस बीच, प्रधानमंत्री ने विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के प्रदर्शन की समीक्षा की जो कड़ी वैश्विक वित्तीय संकट से प्रभावित थे। इसके अलावा, आयोग पंचवर्षीय योजना के प्रदर्शन को 3 साल बाद समीक्षा करेगी और उद्देश्यों को प्राप्त करने के लिए सुधारात्मक उपायों का सुझाव करेगी।

English Translation:
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh met the members of the Planning Commission in order to take stock of the economy and directed them to complete the mid-term appraisal (MTA) of the 11th Plan (2007-12) by March. However, the Prime Minister, who is also the Chairman of the Planning Commission, recommended that performance of the current fiscal should be incorporated into the MTA. Earlier, the Commission was to complete the mid-term review of the 11th Plan by January-end. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister also reviewed the performance of various sectors which were hit hard by the global financial crisis. Moreover, the Commission reviews the performance of the Five Year Plan after 3 years and suggests corrective measures for achieving the objectives.
