Delhi-based real estate firm BPTP revived its plans for foraying into Dalal Street. In spite of adverse market conditions, it is getting ready for an Initial Public Offer (IPO). Meanwhile, the company is quiet on the timing of its proposed issue while merchant bankers in the loop said that it could hit the markets around July. Investment banking sources said that the adverse market conditions have forced BPTP to offer more stakes to the public to raise its targeted funds. Previously, the company had planned to raise Rs 1,500 crore by divesting just 10 %. But, however, it is now looking at raising the same amount by diluting about 20-25 %. The proceeds from the IPO will be used to clear government dues worth Rs 550 crore.
