English Translation:

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is likely to approve a debt restructuring program for the domestic airlines. Some of the banks had earlier approached the Indian banking regulator to give approval for a loan restructuring program for an airline which was facing liquidity problems. But the central bank refused to give a company specific permission. The RBI has now asked a number of major banks to come out with a common policy for restructuring loans for all the domestic airlines in order to lend a helping hand to the financially troubled industry. A total of 13 large banks are now likely to approach the regulator with a common stand on the matter.
