Gammon India has announced that Gammon Group companies have won Rs 310 crore worth of order for supply of 1 x 150 megawatt (MW) steam turbine and boiler for Nagai Power plant. The company’s net profit had jumped by 20.51% to Rs 30.20 crore during the quarter ended June 30, 2010 as compared to Rs 25.06 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009. Its total income for the reporting quarter increased by 52.16% to Rs 1,308.99 crore from Rs 860.28 crore for the previous year’s corresponding quarter. Gammon India is engaged in providing engineering and construction services. It undertakes planning, designing and construction of roads, highways, bridges and other projects.
