Apollo Tyres Inks Supplementary MoU With Tamil Nadu Government : अपोलो टायर्स ने तमिलनाडू सरकार के साथ एमओयू पर हस्ताक्षर किये : 12th January

अपोलो टायर्स ने तमिलनाडु सरकार के साथ (एमओयू) राज्य में अपने निवेश को बढ़ाने अपनी ग्रीनफील्ड परियोजना के भाग के रूप मे 2,100 करोड़ रुपये के उत्पाद की उम्मीद की मांग के पीछे, एक अनुपूरक समझौता ज्ञापन में प्रवेश किया है। अतिरिक्त निवेश के साथ संयंत्र की क्षमता प्रति दिन 8000 यात्री कार रेडियल टायरों के साथ 6000 और प्रति दिन बस ट्रक रेडियल टायरों की वृद्धि होगी। इससे पहले प्रमुख टायर सरकार के साथ एक सहमति पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर किए थे से पांच साल की अवधि में अपना ग्रीनफील्ड सुविधा स्थापित करने के लिए ट्रकों, बसों और कारों के लिए रेडियल टायरों के निर्माण के लिए 450 करोड़ रूपये का निवेश किया है। परियोजना के लिए 135 एकड़ भूमि पर चेन्नई के निकट ओरगदम पर सिप्कोत औद्योगिक केंद्र में आने की उम्मीद है। प्रस्तावित संयंत्र अप्रत्यक्ष रोजगार जबकि 900 के लिए प्रत्यक्ष रोजगार 1100 व्यक्तियों को प्रदान करेगा।

English Translation:

Apollo Tyres has entered into a supplementary Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government for increasing its investments in the state to Rs 2,100 crore as part of its greenfield project, on the back of expected demand for the product. With the additional investment the plant capacity would be increased to 6,000 truck and bus radial tyres per day along with 8,000 passenger car radial tyres per day. Earlier, the tyre major had signed a MoU with the government to invest Rs 450 crore over a period of five years for setting up its greenfield facility to manufacture radial tyres for trucks, buses and cars. The project is slated to come up on 135 acre land at SIPCOT Industrial Centre at Oragadam near Chennai. The proposed plant would provide direct employment to 1,100 persons while indirect jobs to 900.
