अशोक लीलैंड भारत की दूसरी सबसे बड़ी वाणिज्यिक वाहन निर्माता वाणिज्यिक वाहन बिक्री में 17.24 प्रतिशत की 8576 इकाइयों में इसी महीने तुलना में पिछले वर्ष के सितंबर में 10362 इकाइयों की गिरावट की सूचना दी है।

इसके अलावा, पिछले वर्ष के इसी महीने में कंपनी की घरेलू बिक्री में 9512 इकाइयों के खिलाफ सितंबर में 7456 इकाइयों पर खड़ा नीचे 21.62 प्रतिशत जबकि, निर्यात, 31.76 फीसदी से 1120 इकाइयों ने पिछले महीने एक साल पहले की अवधि में 850 इकाइयों से वृद्धि हुई।

इससे पहले अगस्त में कंपनी के कुल वाहनों की बिक्री 7480 वाहनों से एक साल पहले 7218 के लिए 3.5 प्रतिशत गिर गया।

English Translation :

India’s second largest commercial vehicle maker, Ashok Leyland has reported 17.24 percent fall in commercial vehicle sales at 8,576 units in September compared to 10,362 units same month of the previous year.

Moreover, domestic sales of the company stood at 7,456 units in September against 9,512 units in the same month of the previous year, down 21.62 percent while, exports, increased by 31.76 per cent to 1,120 units last month from 850 units in the year-ago period.

Earlier, the company’s total vehicle sales in August fell 3.5 percent to 7,218 from 7,480 vehicles a year ago.
