Coffee Exports Decline By 4% In September : सितम्बर मे कॉफी निर्यात में 4% की गिरावट : 20-10-11

इस साल सितंबर में कम स्टॉक और कमजोर वैश्विक आर्थिक स्थिति की वजह से भारत के कॉफी निर्यात मे 4 फीसदी गिरावट आई है। कॉफी बोर्ड के आंकड़ों के मुताबिक देश में 25,128 टन के खिलाफ महीने में एक साल पहले की अवधि में 24041 टन कॉफी का निर्यात हुआ था। भारत मोटे तौर पर इटली, जर्मनी, रूस, बेल्जियम और स्पेन के लिए कॉफी का निर्यात करता है। कॉफी फसल वर्ष 2010-11 (अक्टूबर से सितंबर) के लिए भारत के कॉफी निर्यात में 358,278 टन को स्पर्श करने के लिए 41 फीसदी की वृद्धि हुई। यह देखते हुए कि घरेलू बाजार मे अगले साल लगभग 70,000 टन की खपत होगी, निर्यातक लगभग 20,000 टन के साथ छोड़ दिया।

English Translation :

India’s coffee exports have declined by 4 per cent in September this year due to low stocks and the weak global economic situation. According to Coffee Board data the country exported 24,041 tonnes of coffee in the month against 25,128 tonnes in the year-ago period. India largely exports coffee to Italy, Germany, Russia, Belgium and Spain. For the coffee crop year 2010-11 (October-September), India’s coffee exports grew by 41 per cent to touch 358,278 tonnes. Considering that the domestic market consumes around 70,000 tonnes next year, exporters will be left with around 20,000 tonnes.
