Pepper futures were trading marginally higher on Friday। Though the prices suffered profit booking in last couple of sessions but the overall fundamentals remained firm on reports of good demand amidst falling stocks in the mandis. However, traders do apprehend some more short term corrections. The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 36,525.00, up by 0.25% or Rs 90.00 from its previous closing of Rs 36,435.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 2794 lots. The contract for November delivery was trading at Rs 37,230।00, up by 0.38% or Rs 140.00 from its previous closing of Rs 37,090.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 8,359 lots on NCDEX.
