Physical rubber prices remained unchanged on Monday, though the future prices improved but the spot prices remained steady on buyer resistance and the volumes too remained low. Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 remained unchanged at Rs 187/kg and Rs 185/kg respectively. In the futures market, the contract of RSS-4 for the March delivery improved to Rs 187.52 compared to its previous closing of Rs 185.46, while the contract for the April delivery closed at Rs 192.45 compared to its previous closing of Rs 190.15 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
