हिंदी अनुवाद :बजट के बाद कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी की उम्मीद ने लोगो को वित्त वर्ष के अंत से पहले कारें खरीदने के लिए प्रेरित किया, नतीजतन कार निर्माताओं ने मार्च के महीने के लिए रिकॉर्ड बिक्रीयां पोस्ट की। लगभग सात वाहन निर्माताओं ने मार्च 2012 में टाटा मोटर्स एक लाख यूनिट की बिक्री निशान को पार करने के साथ एक साल पहले इसी अवधि की तुलना में स्वस्थ बिक्री की घोषणा की है।
वित्त मंत्री की उत्पाद शुल्क में मौजूदा 10% से 12% तक की वृद्धि की घोषणा के चलते इस वित्तीय वर्ष में कारो की कीमतों के ऊपर जाने की उम्मीद है। प्रमुख कार निर्माताओं के अनुसार यह वृद्धि कीमतों में 3 लाख रुपए तक का बढ़ावा लाएगी। सबसे बड़ी छलांग टोयोटा किर्लोस्कर मोटर (टीकेएम् ) में आई हैजिसने कारों की बिक्री में मार्च में 18,220 इकाइयों तक 87% वृद्धि की सूचना दी है अपनी 'इटीयोस और 'लिवा मोडलो के आज तक की सर्वोच्च मासिक बिक्री के चलते यह संचालित हुआ है।
English Translation :
The expectation of a price rise after the budget has prompted people to buy cars before the end of the fiscal. Consequently car manufacturers have posted record sales for the month of March. About seven vehicle makers have announced healthy sales in March 2012 over the corresponding period a year ago with Tata Motors crossing one lakh unit sales mark.
Car prices are expected to go up in this fiscal as the Finance Minister has announced a hike in excise duty from the current 10% to 12%. As per leading car makers, this hike will lead to an increase in prices upto 3 lakh. The biggest jump has come in for Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) which has reported an increase of 87% in car sales to 18,220 units in March, driven by highest ever monthly sales of its 'Etios' and 'Liva' models.
