नाल्को का पांच वर्ष में 10,000 करोड़ रुपए का कारोबार बढ़ाने का उद्देश्य - सितम्बर 21,2009

विश्व अर्थव्यवस्था में मौजूदा आर्थिक मंदी के बावजूद, नेशनल एल्युमिनियम कंपनी (नाल्को) को अगले पांच वर्षों मे वर्तमान वार्षिक कारोबार 6000 करोड़ रुपए से 10,000 करोड़ रुपए वृद्धि करना है। नाल्को के अध्यक्ष और प्रबंध निदेशक सी.आर. प्रधान ने कहा कंपनी को भारत के बाहर और भीतर अपने मानव संसाधन अधिकतम उपयोग के माध्यम से पेश कारोबार हासिल करने की उम्मीद है।

कम्पनी के भविष्य की योजनाओं के संबंध में उन्होंने कहा, कंपनी खनन क्षेत्र गुदेम और विशाखापत्तनम (आंध्र प्रदेश) के निकट चिंतापल्ली में के.आर. कोंडा में खनन स्थल प्राप्त करने के लिए अंतिम चरण में है।

English Translation:

Despite the prevailing economic downturn in the global economy, National Aluminium Company (Nalco) aims to enhance its annual business turnover to Rs 10,000 crore in the next five years from Rs 6000 crore currently. The company expects to achieve the projected turnover through massive expansion both within and outside India and also through the maximum utilization of its human resources, Nalco chairman and managing director CR Pradhan said.

Regarding the company''s future plans, he said, the company in final stage to acquire mining zones at Gudem and KR Konda mining sites at Chintapalli near Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh). Moreover, the company''s second phase expansion of aluminium smelter at Angul is close to completion.
