The broader market indices also remained in pressure in the early trade as both the BSE Mid Cap and the BSE Small Cap indices are now trading with a cut of more than 0.5% each. The Realty, Consumer Durables, Metal and Capital Goods were the worst hit in the opening trade, while PSU and Auto index were trading with marginal gains.
The BSE Sensex is trading lower by 95.97 points or (0.59%) at 16,168.33 and the NSE Nifty is trading lower by 31.25 points or (0.65%) at 4,798.30.
The BSE Mid Cap is trading lower by 18.69 points or (0.32%) at 5,902.92 and the BSE Small Cap fell by 31.46 points or (0.44%) to 7,069.81.
The Overall market breadth is negative as 711 stocks are advancing while 1184 stocks are declining and the 64 stocks remained unchanged on BSE.
