The LIC of India Machilipatnam Senior Divisional Manager P. Mallikarjuna Rao launched a new single premium policy called as Jeevan Nischay for lower income groups in Vijayawada on October 29, 2009. The new policy promises to return more than double the amount paid in 10 years. The scheme ends on March 31, 2010.
