The sentiment was under pressures during the day due to the decline in the domestic and international rubber futures but due to the lacking quantity sellers in the market, the prices sustained at previous day's levels. The sheet rubber closed steady at Rs 142 a kg and the volumes continued to be low amidst scattered transactions. On the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE), the March futures closed on a weak note at Rs 143.06 (143.70) followed by April at Rs 147.52 (148.68), May at Rs 150.22 (151.69) and June at Rs 152.64 (153.25) a kg for RSS 4. However, on Singapore Commodity Exchange (SICOM), the RSS 3 slipped to Rs 148.62 (148.86) a kg. It moved down to Rs 149.52 (150.18) a kg at Bangkok.
