Multi Commodity Exchange, country's top commodity bourse, has received the nod from Forward Markets Commission (FMC), the commodity market regulator, in order to launch the initial public offer (IPO). According to Forward Markets Commission, "The Commission on April 22, 2010 has granted the permission/no objection certificate (NOC) to MCX for its proposed IPO subject to certain conditions,". However, MCX, two years earlier had bagged the NOC to launch the IPO from the regulator, after which the exchange sought the nod from SEBI.
