UP Sugar Output Likely To Rise 15% : यू पी मे चीनी उत्पादन में 15% वृद्धि की संभावना : 30th June

उत्तर प्रदेश के गन्ना विभाग के एक शीर्ष अधिकारी ने कल कहा कि जो राज्य का दूसरा सबसे बड़ा चीनी चीनी निर्माता है कि पहले के लिए 5160000 टन उत्पादन की उम्मीद थी अब में चीनी की 5950000 टन का उत्पादन होने की संभावना 2010-11 (अक्टूबर से सितंबर) । उन्होंने कहा कि गन्ना किसानों को और अधिक बेहतर यह कीमतों वे पिछले साल मिला है और इसलिए भारत में चीनी उत्पादन करने के लिए 2010-11 में वृद्धि की संभावना है की वजह से था। एक औसत पर, उत्तर प्रदेश में गन्ना किसानों को 250-290 रूपये प्रति क्विंटल भुगतान किया गया। पहले के अनुमानों के अनुसार अधिकारी ने यह उम्मीद थी कि राज्य में 2010-11 में गन्ने की 56,600,000 टन कुचलने लेकिन यह अब गन्ने का 65 लाख टन करने के लिए संशोधित है। आगे उन्होंने कहा कि 2009-10 के गन्ना उत्पादन के लिए अंतिम आंकड़ा 15 जुलाई से ही उपलब्ध हो जाएगा।

English Translation:

Yesterday a top official of the Uttar Pradesh's cane department said that the state which is the second largest sugar producer of sugar was earlier expected to produce 5.16 million tonnes is now likely to produce 5.95 million tonnes of sugar in 2010-11 (October-September). He added that the farmers had planted more cane this year due to the better prices they got last year and hence the sugar output in India is likely to increase in 2010-11. On an average, farmers in Uttar Pradesh were paid around Rs 250-290 a quintal for cane. As per the earlier estimates by the official, it was expected that the state will crush 56.6 million tonnes of cane in 2010-11 but it is now revised to 65 million tonnes of cane. Further he said that the final figure for the 2009-10 cane output will be available only by July 15.
