Reliance Mutual Fund has opened the New Fund Offer (NFO) Reliance Fixed Horizon Fund - XV - Series 2, a close-ended income scheme. The NFO opens for subscription on July 27, 2010 and closes on July 28, 2010. No entry and exit load is applicable. The tenure of the scheme has been fixed as 6 months from the date of allotment. The scheme will be benchmarked against CRISIL Liquid Fund Index. The minimum application amount will be Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter. The primary investment objective of the scheme is to seek to generate regular returns and growth of capital by investing in a diversified portfolio of Central and State Government securities and other fixed income/ debt securities normally maturing in line with the time profile of the scheme with the objective of limiting interest rate volatility.
