Maruti Suzuki India has hiked prices of its various models, barring Alto, in the range of Rs 2,000-7,500 (Ex Showroom, Delhi) with immediate effect. The price increase ranges between 1% and 1.5% across models. The move from the country’s largest car maker comes on the back of rising raw material costs. The company reported 29.2% growth in its monthly sales for July 2010.
