Castrol India has reported the unaudited results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2010. The company reported a surge of 31.06% in net profit of Rs 105.90 crore for the quarter ended December 2010 compared to Rs 80.80 crore in the same quarter last year. Total income for the quarter increased 14.83% to Rs 706.80 crore compared to Rs 615.50 crore in the same quarter last year. Meanwhile, the company has reported a rise of 28.65% in net profit of Rs 490.30 crore for the year ended December 2010 compared to Rs 381.10 crore in the last year. The total income for the year surged 17.84% to Rs 2774.20 crore compared to Rs 2354.30 crore in the last year.
