Principal Mutual Fund has declared dividend under quarterly dividend options Principal Monthly Income Plan - MIP Plus on the face value of Rs 10 per unit. The quantum of dividend will be Rs 0.2400 per unit. The record date for the dividend payout is fixed as March 24, 2011. The NAV of the scheme was at Rs 11.4894 per unit as on March 17, 2011. The investment objective of the scheme is to generate regular income through investments in fixed income securities so as to make periodical income distribution to the Unit holders and also to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing a portion of the scheme’s assets in equity and equity related instruments.
