Pepper futures are trading marginally in red on Tuesday after witnessing a sharp upmove in last session. Though, the fundamentals remain strong and sentiments bullish on factors prevailing in the Indian and International markets for the commodity. Demand from North India has been regularly there ahead of the Festive season.
The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 35200.00, down by 0.11% or Rs 40.00 from its previous closing of Rs 35240.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 386 lots.
The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 36190.00, down by 0.22% or Rs 80.00 from its previous closing of Rs 36270.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 10000 lots on NCDEX.
