Guar Seed futures have surged on Tuesday, extending their gains for another day on the back of rising demand in domestic as well as export market. However, traders are apprehensive of some fall in rates in short term till exports rise significantly.
The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 4,677.00, up by 2.48% or Rs 113.00 from its previous closing of Rs 4,564.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 141240 lots.
The contract for November delivery was trading at Rs 4,283.00, up by 0.78% or Rs 33.00 from its previous closing of Rs 4,250.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 7054 lots on NCDEX.
