आंध्र बैंक ने व्यापार में 1.3 लाख करोड़ लगाए- सितम्बर 08, 2009

आंध्र बैंक रुपए के कारोबार के लिए 1.3 लाख करोड़ रुपए की तुलना में जून 2009 के अंत में 1.05 लाख करोड़ से मार्च 2010 के अंत तक का कारोबार करने की योजना बनाई है। बैंक के आदेश के अनुसार बैंक अपने व्यापार को बढ़ाने के लिए इस वर्ष और अधिक बैंक की 121 शाखाएँ खोलने की योजना बना रहे है। बैंक के बढ़ने के कारण केन्द्र पर वृद्धि कवरेज के लिए प्रचलित खातों और कोर्पोरेट सेलरी सेविंग बैंक खातों, कार लोंस, क्विक विप्रेषण के लिए फंड द्बारा एनआरआई, सोने के सिक्कों के विक्रय के लिए/लोंस की तुलना में इन सिक्कों और आभूषण आदि के वृद्धि कवरेज की योजना बनाई जा रही है।

English Translation:

Andhra Bank is looking at a business of Rs 1.3 lakh crore by the end of March 2010 as against Rs 1.05 lakh crore at the end of June 2009. In order to enhance its business further, the bank is planning to open 121 branches this year. The bank will step up focus on increasing coverage of current accounts as well as corporate salary savings bank accounts, car loans, quick remittance of funds by NRIs, sale of gold coins/ loans against these coins and jewellery, etc.

According to the source, in the next two years, the bank eyeing to open over 200 branches outside Andhra Pradesh to become a national bank. The bank hopes to open around 100 branches out of 121 branches this year in Punjab as well as Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan. The bank had already identified 62 growth centres in Tier-II as well as Tier-III locations. Currently, the bank has 1,438 branches. Out of this, 1,004 are in Andhra Pradesh that generating 53 per cent of the business.
