Refined soya oil futures are witnessing good short covering along with other agri commodities. Also there were good global cues to support the prices. CBOT futures closed higher while the Malaysian palm oil was trading higher. The contract for March delivery was trading at Rs 636.95, up by 0.95% or Rs 6.00 from its previous closing of Rs 630.95. The open interest of the contract stood at 66650 lots. The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 647.10, up by 1.17% or Rs 7.50 from its previous closing of Rs 639.60. The open interest of the contract stood at 78000 lots on NCDEX.

HDFC Increases Home Loans : एचडीएफसी ने होम लोन मे वृद्धि की : 1st March

हाउसिंग डेवलपमेंट फाइनेंस (एचडीएफसी) निगम, आवास वित्त प्रमुख, तत्काल प्रभाव से दोनों नए और मौजूदा उधारकर्ताओं के लिए 25 आधार अंकों की होम लोन दरों में वृद्धि की है। कंपनी ने अपने खुदरा मूल उधार (आरपीएलआर) दर, जिस पर अपने समायोज्य दर घर ऋण, 15.5 करने के लिए बेंचमार्क है 15.25 प्रतिशत प्रतिशत से बढ़ा है। एचडीएफसी आरपीएलआर में कुल वृद्धि इस वित्तीय वर्ष है कि अप्रैल 2010 से आज तक है 175 आधार अंक है। एचडीएफसी ने 1 फरवरी से पहले ही इसकी दरों मे 25 आधार अंक द्वारा वृद्धि की है। नई उधार दर 1 मार्च 2011 से प्रभावी हो जाएगी।

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC), housing finance major, has increased home loans rates by 25 basis points for both new and existing borrowers with immediate effect. The company has hiked its retail prime lending rate (RPLR), on which its adjustable rate home loans are benchmarked, to 15.5 per cent from 15.25 per cent. The total increase in HDFC's RPLR this financial year that is from April 2010 to date is 175 basis points. HDFC had had hiked its rates earlier on February 1, by 25 basis points. The new lending rate will be effective from March 1, 2011.

Benchmark Mutual Fund has announced dividend under Benchmark Derivative Fund on the face value of Rs 1,000 per unit. The quantum of dividend will be Rs 50 per unit as on the record date. The record date for the dividend payout has been fixed as March 3, 2011. The scheme recorded NAV of Rs 1,099.2740 per unit as on February 25, 2011. The investment objective of the scheme is to provide absolute returns over and above money market instruments by taking advantage in the underlying cash & derivatives markets.
