मोजर बेयर इंडिया (एम बी आई एल) ने अगले तीन से चार वर्षों में गुजरात और उड़ीसा में थर्मल विद्युत संयंत्रों की 6,000 मेगावाट की स्थापना का लक्ष्य रखा है। कंपनी का इन ताप विद्युत संयंत्रों पर लगभग 30,000 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश करने की योजना है। इसने 4000 मेगावाट थर्मल पावर परियोजना के लिए गुजरात सरकार के साथ और एक अन्य 1980 मेगावाट की परियोजना के लिए उड़ीसा सरकार के साथ समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। यह दो राज्यों में भी उपयुक्त शहरों की तलाश मे है।

वर्तमान में, कंपनी लगभग 20,000 करोड़ रुपये के निवेश के साथ मध्य प्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ में 3840 मेगावाट क्षमता के ताप विद्युत संयंत्रों को विकसित कर रही है। उन्होंने 2520 मेगावाट (660x2, 600x2) का एक संयंत्र, अनुपपुर में शहडोल के पास मध्य प्रदेश में, और 1320 मेगावाट (660x2) की इकाई चंपा, छत्तीसगढ़ में शामिल की हैं।

English Translation :

Moser Baer India (MBIL) is aiming to set up 6,000 MW of thermal power plants in Gujarat and Orissa in the next three to four years. The company plans to invest nearly Rs 30,000 crore on these thermal power plants. It has signed a MoU with the Gujarat Government for a 4,000-MW thermal power project and another with Orissa Government for a 1,980-MW project. It is also looking for suitable cities in the two states.

At present, the company is developing thermal power plants of 3,840 MW capacity in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh with an investment of about Rs 20,000 crore. They include a 2,520-MW (660x2, 600x2) plant at Anuppur, near Shahdol in Madhya Pradesh, and 1,320-MW (660x2) unit at Champa, Chhattisgarh.
