एफएमसीजी प्रमुख मैरिको ने अपने बोर्ड के दो विदेशी निवेशकों के लिए शेयरों के इश्यू के जरिए 500 करोड़ रुपए तक जुटाने का अनुमोदन प्राप्त किया है। कम्पनी के बोर्ड ने इन्दिवेस्ट और बैरिंग भारत प्राइवेट इक्विटी फंड III सूचीबद्ध निवेश के लिए 170 रूपये के इश्यु मूल्य पर प्रति 1 रूपये के 2,94,11,764 इक्विटी शेयर जिसका लगभग निर्गम मूल्य 500 करोड़ रूपये है को आवंटित करने के लिए मंजूरी दे दी है। मैरिको ब्रांडेड तेजी से बढ़ उपभोक्ता वस्तुओं और ब्रांडेड सेवाओं के व्यापार में लगी हुई है। कंपनी के दो क्षेत्रों, अर्थात्, उपभोक्ता उत्पादों और दूसरों में चल रही है। कंपनी उपभोक्ता उत्पादों मे नारियल तेल, अन्य खाद्य तेलों, बालों के तेल और अन्य बाल देखभाल उत्पादों, पुरुष सौंदर्य उत्पादों, कपड़ा देखभाल उत्पादों, स्वस्थ भोजन, साबुन, स्वास्थ्य देखभाल उत्पादों, महिला सुंदरता देखभाल उत्पादों में शामिल हैं।

FMCG major Marico has received its board’s approval to raise upto Rs 500 crore through issue of shares to two foreign investors. The company’s board has approved to allot 2,94,11,764 equity shares of Re 1 each at an issue price of Rs 170 per share aggregating to an issue size of Rs 500 crore to Indivest and Baring India Private Equity Fund III Listed Investments. Marico is engaged in the business of branded fast moving consumer goods and branded services. The company operates in two segments, i.e., consumer products and others. The company’s consumer products include coconut oils, other edible oils, hair oils and other hair care products, male grooming products, fabric care products, healthy foods, soaps, health care products, female beauty care products.
