English Translation:

The markets today opened sharply lower on the back of negative cues from the global markets. The profit booking continued among the selective scrips mainly led by the Metal, Auto, Realty, Oil & Gas and IT stocks. However the markets are still trading in negative territory. The broader market indices also recovered from the early losses and are now trading flat.

The BSE Sensex is now trading below the 14800 mark and the NSE Nifty around the 4450 mark.

The BSE Sensex is trading down by 85.52 points or (0.57%) at 14,790 and the NSE Nifty is trading lower by 22.65 points or (0.51%) at 4,461.35.

The BSE Mid Cap increased by 5.80 points or (0.11%) to 5,119 while the BSE Small Cap fell by 40.33 points or (0.69%) to 5,845.43.

The Overall market breadth is negative as 513 stocks are advancing while 1169 stocks are declining and the 26 stocks remained unchanged on BSE.

English Translation:

The markets today opened sharply higher on the back of positive cues from the global markets. But suddenly the market turned volatile and shed most of its opening gains as profit booking emerged at higher level. The significant buying interest is seen among the Auto, FMCG, IT, Pharma and Capital Goods stocks. However, the Power, Banking, Realty and Oil & Gas stocks are witnessing some selling pressure in the early trade.

The BSE Sensex is now trading around the 14,850 mark and the NSE Nifty around the 4,500 mark.

The BSE Sensex is trading up by 19.26 points or (0.13%) at 14,859.89 and the NSE Nifty is trading lower by 8.95 points or (0.20%) at 4,520.95.

The BSE Mid Cap decreased by 1.06 points or (0.02%) to 5,203.15 while the BSE Small Cap grew by 19.43 points or (0.31%) to 6,216.21.

The Overall market breadth is positive as 1537 stocks are advancing while 460 stocks are declining and the 46 stocks remained unchanged on BSE.
