IntraSoft Technologies has fixed the issue price at Rs. 145, higher end of the price band of Rs 137-145 per share. The IPO was opened for subscription on 23rd March 2010 and closed on 26th March 2010. The company has raised around Rs. 53.65 crore from the upper-end of the public offer. Earlier, the company has filed the red hearing prospectus with SEBI and ROC to enter the capital markets with an IPO of 37,00,000 equity shares of face value of Rs. 10 each. Earlier, Mr. Arvind Kajaria, MD of IntraSoft Technologies said the object of the issue is to fund the company's capex plan. The company eyes to spend Rs. 13 crore for purchasing of a corporate office at Kolkata and Rs. 20.2 crore for branding and promotion activities.

TVS Motor, the two-wheeler manufacturer, today reported a decent growth of 24 per cent in March this year. The company in the month posted sales of 1.46 lakh units as against 1.18 lakh units in the same month last year, TVS Motor Company said. Moreover, the cumulative growth for the period between April 2009-March 2010 stood at 15 per cent as the company sold 15.21 lakh units as compared to13.25 lakh units in the same period the previous year, it said. Meanwhile, the three-wheeler sales surged 25 per cent in the month of March 2010 to stood at 1.26 lakh units against 1.01 lakh in the same month previous year. While, in the scooterette segment, the company posted a significant growth of 50 per cent to 28,504 units as compared to 19,054 units reported in the same month last year. Besides this, the motorcycles sales in March 2010 also rose by seven per cent to stood at 64,120 units as against 59,796 units reported in the same month previous year. Meanwhile, TVS posted a growth of 23 per cent in exports registering sales of 20,067 units as compared to 16,340 units in March last year.

The rupee gained 20 paise against the US dollar on late selling of the American currency by exporters. It was in the midst of signs of sustained capital inflows. At the Interbank Foreign Exchange, (Forex) market the rupee resumed slightly lower at 45.14/15 a dollar and then fell to a low of 45.18. It later rebounded and settled the day at 44.89/90 a dollar from the previous day''s close while late dollar selling by exporters helped the local unit rebound. Foreign Instititutional Investors (FIIs) have injected a record over $4.1 billion in March. The Indian BSE benchmark Sensex ended lower by 62.40 points or 0.35% following weakness in Asian stocks. Global crude oil was trading above $82 a barrel in London on March 31.
